On behalf of the Executive Committee and the Organising Commitee for the World Championship I would like to say thank you to all of our club members who made themselves available and gave up their own time to come out to the track and assist us in running the event.

At the Official Banquet and Trophy Presentation held this evening our interstate and international drivers and guests expressed their gratitiude for an extremely well run and enjoyable event. This comes down to the people running and supporting the event - our volunteers.

A few people in particular need a special mention. Mirchael Kirby and Paul Dutton were there for the entire event - first to arrive in the morning and last to leave in the evening. Trevor Kerr also, as he has worked extremely hard at the event and for months leading up the start. If I try and name everyone individually I'm bound to forget someone so I will simply say thanks to you all.

There were many people over the 10 days who commiteed whatever time they could and it is appreciated by the comittee and the 5th scale members as they could take part in the event which for many will be a once in a life time opportunity.
