Let's get the appreciation ball rolling...
First and foremost we as a family would like to express our most sincere appreciation to ALL the officials that worked tirelessly before, through and after the event. Without them the drivers, crews and spectators would not have had the pleasure of participating and spectating a premier event and precursor to the national titles that are being held later in the year.
We would specially like to convey our appreciation to Michael Kirby for his selfless dedication to England Park Raceway and to the race director Doug for his co-ordination of the meeting and to the admired Kerr family who put their commitments to our sport before their own family. A warm and jovial thank you to Mr Kerr Senior for bringing his thoroughbred genes into this world.
We would also like to express our thanks to all the drivers and crews who participated and made this event what it was. Special thanks to Finchy, Cavey, Grant, Tim, Gary and a very special thanks to Nick for lending us his time and Tyre Truer, you made our experience enjoyable and felt deserving of our particiaption because of your support.
As novices, Murphy and his laws chased us throughout the whole event, as a team we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience to any of the drivers on the track, we did our best to keep out of the way and our lack of preparation came to the fore and taught us many lessons that we aim to rectify the next time we meet again.
The quality of the field was excellent and the driving outstanding, it was as clean as racing can be and having officiated several V8 Supercar meetings at Bathurst this event was nothing short if not a better experience than the 1:1 scale events.
Congratulation to all and not just the A finalists, without all of us participating the event would have seemed hollow and the track conditions would have not been as good as they were. Regardless ot our position, we as a family felt we were "Chasing the best, not beating the rest!" We didnt feel as though we lost, we were beaten by better drivers and that's a great environment to better ourselves and learn from our experiences, thank you.
Sincerely,
Harry, Guy and Luke Sinanian.
