Bayside Club must be dropped from the Interclub Challenge

I feel that Bayside Club's decision to run a points club meeting on the same day as the Goldcoast’s postponed meeting, is an act of stupid and ridiculous show of contempt for the spirit of this great competition format.  While it obviously would have been better to postpone rained out Goldcoast meeting for a fortnight to fit in with other clubs schedules; Bayside Club should understand that it is not possible for the Goldcoast club to run a meeting on the 25th, and other clubs in the Challenge (including my club) have managed to change their calendars to fit it in.  Drivers who have a chance to win club competitions on points have been put in position that they cannot attend the Interclub, if they are serious about winning the club competition this late in the year when points are usually vital to maintain, and is an attempt to damage importance of the Interclub Challenge.

Bayside Club must be dropped from the Interclub Challenge, since they have decided to undermine the Challenge in this fashion.  It well known that the Brendale Club wants to take part in the Challenge, and dropping Bayside would provide a window for the Brendale Club to take part.

 Kindest regards,

                         Lars Karlsson.
