Dear Andy,

                    From a member of Sunshine Coast Radio Control Car Club, I would like to express my sincere thanks to all QRCCRA members who attending our Interclub Challenge meeting the last weekend.  The conduct of all the participants was exemplary, so good that I never heard one four letter word mentioned during the entire two days, with excellent, extremely competitive racing; which was as good as it gets, as far as I’m concerned.  There was some concern by the race directors about too much pushing during some races, and the continuing problem with drivers not getting out of the way while being lapped, but this problem was a minor negative element on the whole, and it has been an ongoing issue throughout the series. 

 
We are a very young club, and that we are working very hard to make everything as good as it could possibly be, I as member can testify that our committee is one where anybody’s input is considered, who welcomes suggestions and ideas of how to improve things, and proposals of how to improve things are looked at seriously and constructively. 

 
I would like to ask you, members of the QRCCRA to make a comment of what your thoughts are about the weekend, observations regarding the race track and how to improve it further, the facilities, communications from the race organisers (during and after races), whether your found the club helpful and friendly with assistance, comments about catering, etc., would help the club keep improving, and your input would help. Both criticism (constructive in particular) and accolades will help us enormously. 

 
There was some dislike expressed about the poly pipes fixed to the top of the concrete corners, some think they are necessary to stop shortcutting, and some loath them; please let us know what your think about them.  What do you think about the pushing during some races, and drivers not getting out of the way while being lapped?  Perhaps the officials of all the clubs should get together to talk about this.  Our club’s race directors where extremely cautious with stop go penalties; as they are frequently been handed out unfairly.  What is your opinion about this?
